Technical Information and Headroom Requirements

A. Insulated Roller Doors from SeceuroGlide

Fitting Options

INTERNAL Face Fixing: SeceuroGlide is installed INSIDE the opening to the garage. This is ideal where headroom inside the garage isn’t seriously restricted. Internal reveal fixing may also be used to great effect in arched openings.
EXTERNAL Face Fixing (NOT SeceuroGlide Excel or SeceuroGlide Manual): SeceuroGlide is installed IN FRONT of the opening OUTSIDE the garage. This is ideal where internal headroom is particularly restricted. Note, some marking may show over time at the upper corners of the door.
REVEAL Fixing (NOT SeceuroGlide Excel or SeceuroGlide Manual): Here SeceuroGlide is installed in the GARAGE OPENING itself. This option gives maximised internal space in the garage, whilst not obscuring the exterior of the garage. Requires good reveal headroom.

If recommended headroom is not available the door may still be installed, required headroom should be maintained (n.b. some loss of opening height will occur and the roll of the door will be visible, but this may be disguised by a fascia).
Glidermatic doors require an extra 20mm side clearance on the side the drive unit is required to be fitted.
Sizes - up to 5 metres wide and 3 metres high. Requires no frame so enables the maximum possible opening width for the wider vehicle. Door sits behind the brickwork so can be fitted in arched and unusual garage door openings.
Guarantees - so long as the door is reasonably maintained 2 years electrical, 6 years mechanical and 10 years on the door finish. CE tested and approved.
Windlock system - should be specified for double doors in very exposed locations and greater side room clearance is required. For advice and information, speak to our technical department or your supplier.
Converting to automatic - whilst manual doors can be easily converted to automatic later, there is a significant cost saving if the unit is factory-fitted at the outset.
